Professional Fellows Program (Central Europe)

The Professional Fellowship Program is a two-way exchange program designed to build partnerships between emerging leaders from foreign countries and the United States. Participants are placed in four-week fellowships in nonprofit organizations and government offices across Chicago.

Two-way exchange

Chicago host organizations later travel overseas to implement a joint-project with their fellow. Young professionals gain practical experience, and exposure to best practices in the U.S. while providing assistance and consultation at their host organizations.

The Professional Fellows Program is sponsored by the US Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. WorldChicago hosts fellows from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine.
