HOMESTAY HOSTS NEEDED! FOR PAN-AFRICAN YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM 2014
WorldChicago is actively seeking host families for our first Anglophone delegation, Thursday, March 27, through Friday, April 4. Youth will participate in program activities through Friday, 9 to 5. Evenings and weekends will be left free to spend with host families.
WorldChicago has partnered with Washington, DC-based nonprofit FHI360 to implement the U.S. Department of State's Pan-Africa Youth Leadership Program in 2014.
This dynamic program will bring together 72 students and adult mentors from all across sub-Saharan Africa for a 3-week program to strengthen their understanding of civic engagement, leadership, diversity, and community engagement. The 8-day Chicago segment will include special emphasis on the sub-theme of youth entrepreneurship and employment.
WorldChicago will receive three delegations of 24 students each - two Anglophone and one Francophone - through the spring, summer, and fall.

WHAT IS HOMESTAY HOSTING?
Our professional program participants are in meetings or internships all day during the week, spending time with host families primarily during evenings and weekends.
What do we need? Each visitor must have a separate bedroom and access to shared or private bathroom. Some programs provide a small stipend. Hosts provide breakfast and dinners. WorldChicago provides transportation by public transit or private coach.

WorldChicago seeks meal hospitality hosts for the evening of for 6 mid-level managers from Shanghai, China. This year of the 6 delegates, 2 are Human Resources professionals, 3 Finance or Asset Management professionals, and one is an Urban Planner. These fellows will be split into two groups of three. Priority will be given to WorldChicago members.

International Visitor Leadership Program This U.S. Department of State program identifies foreign leaders in a variety of fields to visit the U.S. for 3 weeks (visiting 3-5 cities) to meet their professional counterparts, explore their thematic interest area(s), and experience America firsthand.
