WorldChicago presents the Annual Spring Diplomacy Luncheon, our biggest fundraiser of the year.
As an esteemed diplomat, lawyer, businesswoman, and Senator, Carol Moseley Braun encapsulates a successful, dynamic woman. She was a prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s office, a State Rep. in the Illinois House of Representatives, and the first African-American woman to be elected to the U.S. Senate. Ambassador Braun advocated for retirement security and health care support for working men and women as well as proposing the first modern federal school construction legislation and the first women’s pension equity laws. She also served as the Ambassador to New Zealand for three years. After 20 years in public service, Ambassador Braun is now the Founder and President of Good Food Organics™. WorldChicago will also celebrate global women and their accomplishments by featuring female-owned or focused businesses and organizations to exhibit at our Spring Diplomacy Luncheon.
WorldChicago will combine our international celebration of women with our Spring Diplomacy Luncheon this year. We hope by merging these two events, we can further celebrate global women and their accomplishments throughout the spring.
